This essay, accredited in the Service Testing area of our Responsible Declaration, It is used to verify the tightness of the window once the work is completed, regardless of whether laboratory tests can be carried out on windows and doors manufactured for this purpose.
The window and door watertightness test carried out "in situ", Its purpose is to verify the correct installation of the windows on site by means of the absence of water penetration during a set time, according to the UNE standard 85247:2011.

It involves subjecting the exterior surface of a window installed in the building to a constant and specific amount of water that forms a continuous film for a given time.; verifying the absence of water penetration inside.
The test must be carried out on completely finished work units, in final conditions of use.
To carry out the tests, there is a system of sprinklers that apply a continuous film of water regularly over the entire surface capable of being wet under the real conditions of exposure., by means of conical circular jet nozzles.
Nozzles, sprinkler angle and spray flow are arranged according to the UNE standard 85247:2011.

Gracias por tu comentario, Rocío. En cuanto al numero de ensayos aconsejable, el control va a depender siempre de las unidades de obra en las que se actué. In this sense, el proyecto deberá incluir un plan de control con los ensayos y pruebas obligatorias según normativa vigente, además de aquellos controles o ensayos a realizar en las unidades de obra en las que no se pueda justificar su idoneidad mediante la aportación de distintivos oficiales de calidad.
